No this is real thread the other one is a fake.
Watch title.

Apparently, this thread is genuine.
But I think the thread showed in #3 is created without ill will.

The looks of this thread is suitable. But we might as well use:
"Chatter in English (Part 6) " Because that was created earlier than this one.

Questionable results
Local officials interpret the gains on an English test
(the CELDT) as evidence that English learners in the
Los Angeles Unified School District are making real
progress. The CELDT was introduced two years ago.
Research shows that when a new standardized test is
introduced, scores are low at first, and then increase
each year as teachers and students become more
familiar with the format and contents. The CELDT is
closely aligned with the California State Standards;
teachers are very aware of what kinds of items will be
on the test. It is not clear if the gains represent
real learning or simply better test preparation.

u have someone to kidnap for cook?

Yomiuri Giants lost the game yesterday.
And it's three days in a row.

Just because there're many home-run hitters in the team
doesn't mean they're strong, right?

>>66
year, I regret having too much.
>>67
I can't do it ,sir.

>>67
Well, you're the one who talked rubbish
in the other thread, aren't you??

>>70
no.
but i read it.

>>69
And you're full now?

What made Tigers stronger team? The former leader?

>>71
Oh, my mistake.
What you wrote >>67 made me think you're the one.
I'm sorry.

Other teams are weak.

>>73
That's a somewhat difficult question..
But without Mr Hoshino, Tigers couldn't be in a position
where they are now. That's for sure.

>>72
Year, I'm full.

Hawks and Tigers used to be a kuso teams which stayed bottom line.
But They are stronger

>>75
I hope Bay Stars will be the champion this year.
Which team do you like?

>>78
Which means any team has the possibilities to get stronger.

>>79
Are you sane?

>>80
Lotte is the most likely to get stronger, I think.

>>81
Of course, I am.
They were the champion 6years ago.
That's the fact.

>>83
that time, yokohama has competent player.
Rodze Tanisshige daimajin.and leader Gondoh is more compotent than Mr bald.

>>82
Oh, maybe so.

but this season's bay is stronger than last year's

>>84
Hum, you hit the nail on the head.
But I think Bay Stars have many steller players in the
near future. If they are well-trained, our dream will
come true.Maybe it's in this year.
Their becoming the champion this year is icing on the
cake, though.lol

If they were hoping for recovert like Tiger, Resign Mr Bald and
ask mori again.

The reason I think Bay Stars will get stronger again
is because Hanshin clinched first place in the league last year.

>>88
It's all up to TBS.

How about Getting Yashiki and PONSE as player into Bay again.
It is easy way to recover

How miserable for fans of the Giants, if they wouldn't
be the champion this year, considering all the money
the top dog spent on the new comers.

I'm fan of Giants, sir.

>>91
Good thinking.
Those names bring back memories.lol

>>93
What do you think about Mr Hori?

>95
I hate him. I like hara. I hope him stayed giants and reform Giants.
I think kiyo goto eto needn't G

>>96
I got it. Some fans may think the same way.
By the way, how do you feel
if Hara take the place of Nagashima

mmm, I think Hoshino is more suitable position than hara.
Hoshino is popular and good leader..
hara needs to study leadership and management more

I feel sleepy very much... Good night.

>>98
So you don't set expetations too high.
Hara-san is studying those stuffs now, anyway?

three japanese civilians have been captured by terrorists in Iraq.

Japan should contribute to the world peace-keeping.
I don't object that SDF was sent there.

>>259
I agree.
The relations between the nations in the world
got complex beyond my comprehension.

It's a difficult problem.

Fukuda said he doesn't have the intention to
make JSDF leave iraq because Japan helps iraq reconstruct
their society.
If the three civilians get shot to death,
what should we do?
What do you think about that?

>>258 & >>259

By the way, what do you think is/was wrong with Japan?
I mean, what has made the terrorist group attack Japan?

>>261
Once they got killed - it's easy, I think. We will be determined
all the more to combat terrorism and make the world peace,
in order not to waste their lives.

Difficult decision is, I think, at this moment. We should not
concede to the terrorists. But that means... Of course Japan, with
the help of US, will try best to rescue the hostage.

>>262
It's an easy question, isn't it?
The biggest reason is:
Japan followed America.

I think that the terrotist group will attack Japan in near future.
Do everyone here think WHO is responsible for that?

P.s I'm english beginner.

>>264
Ah, I see.

>>263
I can't be determined..
And most Japanese can't.
I don't think of any situation where there're any terrorist
in Japan.
I don't like it, hate it!!
Do you remember Matumoto chizuo, who attaked the subway?
I can't stand any devastating terrorism.
I want any of the terrorists to be defunt in Japan.
This is my honest opinion.

>>265
Why did you take World Health Organization as a possibly responsible institution?
I think WHO has little to do with terrorism.

Do you think of the situation where terrorists
are roaming and shooting some of us to death as if
it's a routine?
At least I can't. Why can we get involved in the war?
Japanese must hate it when barrages of gun fire are heard.
You can stand them if your bro or sis is killed by terrorist?
At least I can't.

>>263
You don't mind if they get killed?
You can say it if you know the three?
I can't.
What you said sounds as if I don't care about them
because I don't know them.

>>269
Personally I can't accept that, too.
So, I don't wanna be a member of the SDF.

they were in serionu danger.
it was their fault.

>>273
I misread it. LOL
I don't think anybody takes responsiblity for terrorism.
Even George W. Bush doesn't have to take it, I think.
I don't think he wanted another September 11th.
If something is wrong, I would say it is anything other than human beings.

>>275
how can we negotiate with them? our government is making contact
with them, Fukuda implied.

Fukuda's point is that Japan don't have to withdraw SDF, because
they are only contributing to the Iraqi welfare - building schools
roads etc. Not like the US force that is killing Iraqis.
But, not all people in that country see things in the same way
as Fukuda does. Obviously.

Ahhhh, we are facing a chatch-22 kind of thing now..
If we don't control the situation, subjugate ourselves
to the terorrism, and have the troops leave iraq,
then America think it's a treachery.
And that will lead to economic sanctions.
On the other hand, if we continue to follow America,
then we may see Japan teeming with terrorists.
I don't come up with any good idea..
How about you?

we're going to fight terrorism.

the hostages?

of course
but comparing with other things. it's so marginal.
Japanese people wouldn't mind. They have been numbed enough.
This society is virtually built on inefficiency and we don't give a shit.

spend money on release may be acceptable ,even if reluctantly.
but we have to avoide to fall ourselves in terroists hand.
its unfair to use this incident to blame the government with no
expression of anger against the terrorists, like some kind of
political group do.

two germannies who were kidnapped in iraqi seems to have
been killed, according to a news.

what is the new condition for release?

1. foreign vice minister aizawa have to visit falluja to see
the scene after a holocost cnducted by us army and the
mass grave of the victims.
2. the japanese government have to aplogize officially to
iraqi people.
3. jieitai have to leave iraqi.

if all of these three requests are not accepted, one hostage
will be killed in 24 hours and the others
will be killed in additional 12 hours.

>>466
who's "them"?

they r the three abductees held in iraq.

You mean, those idiots?
Got nothing else to say about them.

the negotiation seems to be difficult to end in success.

yeah, it'll take some more time for sure.
BTW, aren't there some speculation that these three are actually voluntarily captured??
You know, just to get the Japanese army (well, politically incorrect, but..) out of there?

>>471
there is no one who doesnt know the request.
the terrorist group demanded withdrawal of jieitai in the
first statement three days ago.
but no one is sure that is a kind of kyogen so far.

there has been no confirmation.
it is strange.
or an announement is after they ride in a plane
to narita?

dude, i'm tellin ya, it's all set up by them

>>474
everyone knows there is such an idea.
u also feel a left wing party behind the families of the
abductees.
and they look driven by it.
but the government is settled enough.

btw who is them? in ur"it's all set up by them"
the abductees? left wing party? north korea? chinese communist pty?

>>475
the left wing including these three idiotic people

its in common all over japan , feeling something very
similar to a typical way of a left wing party in the
statement send from the kidnappers. lol

the funny thing is this terrorist group know so much about what's going on in Japan.
I mean, it's like, "where'd you get such info???"
Another thing is, normally, terrorist groups ovet there do not fax their statements cuz' there's a risk that it's gonna give away where they reside.
It's almost like they don't know shit. They don't know proper ways.

its a headache for all nationals.
but they think its a little bit too early to mention it,
due to no clear evidence.

no other topic until new information?

Nuttin'

but only one topic isnt enough here.

what a suprising news. kan naoto reached at the same
conclusion with koizumi.
ive never thought kans agreement to the idea , no withdrawal
of jieitai from iraq.

>>483
man, it ain't surprising.
unless you are mentally fxxked up, you make this conclusion.

>>484
If he didn't agree on the dispatch of JSDF,
It's natural that 483san was surprised at the news.
What do you say?

it is still under negotiation , and it seems hard to
succeed to make the kidnappers accept.
they may be still insisting withdrawal in exchnage for release.

>>487
Who do you think they are?
Only the iraqi tribal maniacs?

no one knows in detail so far.
according to a series of news.
they are a terrosist group in favour of sunni which
consisits of younger members, and expected to
be connected with alcaeda.
they may be fanatic iraqi members, but they seem to
be familiar with national nature of japanese.

>>489
Does the group actually have a contact with alcaeda?

>>490
no one knows it. lol
that is a rumour so far, some people say descriptions in the
statement is different from the typical way of alcaeda.

When I open the window in the room,
a troop is rushing in my room, firing guns at me..
I'm trying to get out when I get up and escape this nightmare..

four italians were kidnapped, and the kidnappers seem to
have demanded italy to make its troops leave iraq.

there is no information to believe.
th kidnappers didnt keep the promise.

not terrorists.

their logic is just ridiculous

they didn't stop their kids going to iraq, which is now a serious war field
but, then, they are accusing the japanese gov of being cruel and useless

i mean, c'mon, what the fuck is that?

What do you mean?

Uh, I'm not on their side, of course.
But What's broadcast in Japan now is,
they don't have any relationship with the
terrorists.
Religious advocates in Iraq debated things about
kidnappings and suggested the terrorists set the three free.
What's the truth?

>>538
my guess is that a lot of different groups are trying to take advantage of this situation, know what i mean?
that's why so many mixed pieces of info out there
now, so hard to find out what the truth is

What do you think they would tell us
if they came back to Japan unscathed?
Something like "we are against terrorism!"or"
we hope Japan will take back JSDF from iraq"?

>>539
So it's on a case-by-case basis

what ever......

>>540
for sure, they gonna make real stupid left-wing thingy comments
but, you see, a lot of people are criticizing them for thier immature judgment & going to iraq
so, don't know, whatever they say will annoy the public more, and they might just get ignored or get criticized more..

if the red army is involved in this case,
it can try to get rid of them in order to
keep the truth in secret.

>>542
Oh, yeah..
How did they finagle such a primo assinment?

And she was very influencial, so the organization doesn't
work now. It's not true?

why doese the suporters in favour of left wing parties
deny the abductees' responsibility they should take?

they may still insist that sending jieitai to iraq caused of this incident,

I just read the news about the comments from
their families.
They apologized for what the three did.
And some writer said that thier demand will reach a lot
of Japanese, and the spectrum of the withdrawal of
SDF from iraq will build up!

i mean the supporters on 583..
the supporters r still insisting and asking for withdrawal from iraq.
this is response to 582,
anyway, i respond to ur question,
the supporters look like intendeing to make the government
decide witdrawal , by making use of that incident in iraq.
its unfair, and i cant agree with them.

How come they're going to be kidnapped?
They just want to be famous, don't they?

>>595
I agree! I don't know the reason why they go to dangerous and disorder place.

>>595
let me know it in short.

>>598
They are numb..
I think Iraq is in a state of war.
If they want to take photos or to report the situation of iraq
to us, they should take care of themselves, I mean,
they should go with some members of SDF.
If they can't do so, then they must not stay in Iraq.
Why did they behave so freely?
I have no idea what they're thinking.

i thought , usually journalists were safe from kidnap.
but nowadays they arent.

One of the important points I've come up with

from Japan have been taken away somewhere,
when they arrived in Iraq.
If they knew about the news, I think they went to iraq
for their becoming famous...

Morning Musume's band name sounds kinda Engrishy. Where does the word "Morning" come from?

Coz I was just thinking "Are we only allowed to listen to Morning Musume in the Morning?".

Other Engrishy Band names include..

Mr.Children (the weirdest name I ever heard)
Mad Capsule Markets
S M A P
Rip Slyme
B O A..

The List goes on.

What's up?

I just wonder why the hostages are in the embassy of Japan
in Iraq?
They wanted to upset the Japanese government?
It doesn't make any sense if they count on the government.

it might have been hard to end the negotiation.
the government succeeded to make them relased at a huge cost.

did u get the gogai about the release?

the italian seems to have been killed in a very cruel way.
al jazeera decided to give up putting the scene on the air.

the kidnappers seem to have handed its statement to the hostages.
and part of that is already on the news web.

according to the web, there are at least three reasons for relase in the statement.
the third reason is interesting.

1. we accepted the reqest from a muslim cleric association.
2. public opinion in favour of withdrawal of jieitai from iraq was formed
agaist the governments policy in japan.
3. we saw a demonstrator in a demonstration rally for release
of the hostages, carrying a placard with Allah akbar(allah is great)

the terrorist group described themselves as if they were
in favour of japanese nationals.
it is funny. lol
japanese left wing parties are used in order to justify
themselves. i hope left wing parties express their
anger against terrorism.

allowing them still to stay in iraq.

tried for their lives to rescue the hostages ?
they should think deeply what to do fo the sake of
people who were involved in this incident.

they have no any gratitude against the cabinet

Yes, they do. They sort of changed their attitudes as far as I saw them on TV.

They apologized a lot, saying sorry for causing so much trouble and so many concerns to a lot of people.
And, they said something like they really want to thank the Japanese gov.

why that 3 want to stay there?

do they know other two japanese ppl r still held in iraq?
even some iraqis r expected to be in danger for rescue.
they have to avoid putting other ppl in danger at least now
if they have humanitarian spirit of volunteerism.

the two japanese seem possible to have been
kidnapped by armed robberies.
if so , no statemnt wii be send over.
or the kidnappers has failed to send over its statement
on this incident immediately?

When they were interviewed, they criticized the Japanese goverment
for deploying SDF. To sum up,
They said those who deserves punishment are
the administration, not the iraqi people.

Of couse, not all people in iraq or from iraq are devilish, horrible
terrorists. We won't dislike iraqi people because of the three idiots.
Almost all iraqi people may be preferable.

How come the three idiots bite the hand that feeds them?
Who would have took care of them?
Iraqi religious leaders?
Then why did the leaders cast an eye on them?
Because Japan has helped iraq financially , and we helped
them reconstruct their society.

The idiots themselves deserves punishment!
They tried to destruct not only Japan, but also Iraq.

one of the released hostages seems to have said in bagdad something
to be shocked with, that iraqi people have nothing to be responsible
for and self defence forces are bad.

why does he or she try to shift responsibility to sdf?
such an expression means justifying the kidnappers.
a lot of people tried to rescue the hostages at risk.
such people will be depressed with his having no sense of
responsibility and nothing to say the criminals.

may be its my misunderstanding, but i feel
they r trying to make sdf leave iraq in step
with terrorists.

It was a whole setup.
What else could it be.

the two japanese were released.
they said the message from the criminals
"we hope no japanese ppl comes to iraq , and we hope
not to hurt friends.
and sdf should withdraw from iraq."

3 idiots went home now from fishing abroad

they didnt appeared in a press conference.
their family members told their message in an intervew
instead of the three.

I don't know why they find themselves pstd in a shortest time.

the relased journlists told in a short time on tv.
they told that they had been treated good by the kidnappers
when they were held.
medias are avoiding to reffer to their anger to
the climinals in order not to stimulate iraqis?
it may be may imagination, but released hostages still suffer from
stockholm syndrome.

walk-He has difficulty walking or even standing up

the released victims gave me only a dessapointment
in a press conferrence.
why did they say anything only for justifying themselves?

its a suprise that the journalist described the criminals as soldiers or
resistance against the us at the press conferrence.
putting aside who was bad, they were busy in expressing their opinions
in favour of terrorists.
why did they try to be against public opinion?
who should have been responsible for the abduction?
